My Sugar Addiction killer★ Just 3 weeks ago I was posting about having this uncontrollable need for whole food cookies, chocolate, ice cream and cakes. Even though I’m on a strict clean eating regimen, I would have it once to twice a week. I don’t like being a slave to food and not having control over my own body. So I did this juicing detox for 2 weeks not excluding protein supplements. By the end of the 5th day I was able to see, or smell sweet goodies and not crave it and at this point, I don’t even want it. It’s freaking amazing and unbelievable to me because I was such a sugar addict just 3 weeks ago struggling with eating clean! I still like sweets but not refined sugars. I prefer, fruits, dried fruits, nuts and protein smoothies now. Guilt free, doesn’t give my sugar levels a roller coaster, no cancer, no extra Fat from refined sugars, no cravings. No lie.

The hardest part is Showing up! Because you have the option of choosing excuses not to do it. But we showed up despite the excuses. Now don’t get me wrong, once we were in the thick of climbing to the top of that steep mountain, it definitely felt harder than showing up but at that point, there are no options for excuses. In a springy mood today ;) Island girl summer fever ya know! It’s springtime!! This weather is getting me charged! April is that last chance month to get summer goals or rather, lifestyle goals visible by June! The pic on left was a year and a half after having my last (3rd) daughter. Because I breast fed for a year, & I’m vegetarian, I was able to drop all of my baby weight. Though my belly appeared flat, it was still flabby, very soft and fatty. The pic on the left was weeks after that, when I began my meal plan and ab challenge.
